In January 2025, Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews dropped a pass that could have tied a playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo won, ending Baltimore's season. But instead of mocking Andrews, some Bills fans began donating to Breakthrough T1D, a diabetes research organization supported by the Ravens player, who has Type 1 diabetes.
Within days, donations exceeded $110,000. (ESPN, 2025)
For anyone familiar with Bills Mafia, the generosity wasn't entirely surprising.
