In 2013, Ronda Rousey went to Bulgaria to film The Expendables 3. She brought part of her fight camp with her.
Rousey was still UFC women’s bantamweight champion, with a title defense against Miesha Tate coming that December. So between filming scenes with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, she kept training. She even boxed with castmate and former world champion Victor Ortiz. (MMA Fighting, 2013)
This wasn’t a post-fighting career move. Rousey was building a Hollywood career while she was still one of the biggest stars in the UFC.
